Renovation begins to riverside apartment following fire damage
Pickford’s have begun a fire damage restoration project at a riverside apartment in Norwich, working in partnership with insurers AXA and Questgate.
Following a serious fire, the £200k project will involve the full refurbishment of a first-floor, two-bedroom apartment which will include a new roof, period sash windows and a new kitchen and bathroom.
The property is part of the Bullard & Sons Anchor Brewery, a historic listed building now converted into riverside homes. Its location on the banks of the River Wensum has required the design and installation of a specialist tin hat scaffold to allow works to be carried out safely and without the need for supports in the water.
Led by Contracts Manager Carl Finbow, the project is scheduled for completion in January 2026.
