Policy Holders

Our insurance team work on behalf of various loss adjusters across Essex, dealing with insurance claims for the damage caused by the escape of fire, water, subsidence and impact. We have a team of skilled tradesmen including electricians, plumbers, plasterers, painters and decorators, carpenters and tilers.

We carry out insurance repairs to domestic, commercial and industrial premises, often whilst still occupied. We work closely with the building owners and/or occupants to complete the repairs with minimal disruption and inconvenience.

How we support policy holders through the insurance repair process

Once Pickford Builders is appointed as the repairer by your insurance company’s network, we are here to guide you through every step of the building insurance repair process from start to finish.

As the Policy Holder, your involvement will be required such as providing necessary information and making key decisions. From the outset our team will clearly outline what’s needed, ensuring you remain informed and supported throughout the process.

Our goal is to complete your repairs and conclude your claim as swiftly and as smoothly as possible.

Providing you with a dedicated team

To ensure a smooth experience, we assign you with a dedicated Contracts Manager and Project Co-ordinator. Along with our site team, they have the specific knowledge of your repair work and will oversee the project with precision and care.

The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the repair, visit your property and managing the site team to ensure high-quality workmanship. The Project Co-ordinator manages the insurance claim from our office, liaising with all parties, ensuring clear communication and timely coordination of information and stages.

They work closely together to deliver an efficient and well managed reinstatement project that aligns with your requirements, whilst adhering to the terms & conditions set out in your insurance policy.

The allocated site team and team leader will take care of the daily requirements on site. If specialist work is needed, the team will co-ordinate this ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards and with minimal disruption at all times.
