Case Study: Cottage Renovation

Summary= Pickford Builders carried out repairs to farm cottage and modernised three front rooms.
Challenge= We had to stabilise the building as it was built before the time of damp proofing and adequate foundations.
Solution= The floor inside the property was excavated and DPC was injected. Underpinning and strengthening works were carried out. Repairs were made to existing brickwork and the timber frame. Electrical and heating systems were upgraded.
